SUSTAINED TOGETHER
Sustained Together is a program for senior female leaders in registered charities.
Finding steadiness, purpose and possibility in uncertain times
There is a growing sense that many systems are shifting beneath us.
For senior female leaders in charities and nonprofit organisations, these pressures can feel particularly close.
We are feeling uncertainty personally - and leading an organisation trying to respond to its consequences.
What is Sustained Together?
Sustained Together is a structured program for female leaders leading charities in a world of increasing change, complexity and uncertainty.
The program is built as a response to the polycrisis - the convergence of global challenges which leave us feeling anxious, unsettled and overwhelmed.
The Sustained Together Journey
Sustained Together follows a shared ten-stage journey based on the tried and tested MNGL program.
1. Take Stock
Understand where we are now
2. Envision Direction
Begin to imagine what a New Good Life could look and feel like for us and our organisations.
3. Regulate Self
Develop greater awareness of our inner responses and create more space to choose how we respond.
4. Explore Identity
Reconnect with our essence, strengths and natural gifts.
5. Map Relations
Explore the relationships and connections that shape our life.
6. Transcend Limitations
Recognise the beliefs, fears and patterns that may be restricting what feels possible.
7. Face Threats
Consider uncertainty and change without becoming overwhelmed by them.
8. Integrate Mission
Explore the contribution, purpose or direction that feels meaningful to you.
9. Design Action
Turn insight into small, realistic and safe experiments for change.
10. Maintain Balance
Bring what you have learned back into everyday life with greater presence, balance and joy.
The value of doing this together
The day is about feeling supported by female peers, in the charity sector, who understand our role and who experience similar challenges.
The day offers a confidential, thoughtful space in which we step outside our role and consider our own life, direction, fears, values, relationships, purpose and wellbeing - in relation to the organisation we are working with.
